General Scope of Project: The job consisted of purchasing, transporting and planting 81,000 smooth cord grass plants at various sites on the Chandeleur Island chain off the Louisiana/Mississippi coasts. The purpose of the project was to assess the effectiveness of these plants in protecting the barrier island from erosion.
