General Scope of Project:BIS Construction and Ship Services was a first tier subcontractor under Phillips and Jordan in New Orleans in connection with devastation from Hurricanes Katrina pursuant to their COE IDIQ debris removal and reduction contract. These task orders have encompassed a wide variety of debris removal and management, right of entry and demolition. We hauled more than 1.8 million CY of debris, removed more than 8,000 trees, trimmed more than 23,000 trees, and demolished 400 homes. Safety being vital, we worked more than 1 million man-hours without a lost work time accident. Please see CERTIFICATES OF APPRECIATION from Phillips and Jordan and the Corps.
